The Margate Museum

The Museum is a unique example of a Victorian Police Station and Magistrates Court. It houses extra-ordinary collection of artefacts, pictures and objects giving a wide ranging history of the town over the past five thousand years



Volunteering: Essential requirements are an interest in local history and a yearning for knowledge.



The Board of Trustees are elected on a rotational basis and must comply with the Charity Commission requirements. If you have skills which you think will make you a suitable trustee, contact the board for informal discussions.
